so i started an experiment of replacing unhealthy snacks with healthier ones but not actively attempting to reduce the amount i eat and man, i'm really bad at telling the difference between "hungry" and "actually just not completely full"...

just for the record, if i do end up attempting to lose weight, my main motivations will be that a) it's harder to draft sewing patterns for bodies with a higher body fat percentage because fat deposits can take so many irregular shapes and b) maybe it would contribute to clearing my skin up. in other words, utterly selfish. i'm not leaving any room for anyone to pretend that concern trolling about peoples' weight ever accomplishes anything. it doesn't, it's never justified, especially since you only actually care that people dare to exist in a form you find unpleasant to look at, not whether it endangers their health. nevermind that the health of people you aren't close to with isn't any of your business anyway.

it's kind of bizarre that i live in a world where buying bananas in april is affordable fruit. a bit over a kilogram of bananas, 1.08€. where do bananas even grow? i don't know! we make jokes about the former GDR's lack of bananas, but really our present day situation is a lot stranger
